In one of her writings Mohja Kahf, an ethnic American poet wrote the following: "To seek the living manifestation of spiritual and ethical values themselves, regardless of the label they come under, is to discover unexpected kinship... In this view, faith is no longer a matter of an allegiance to a specific community or identity, but a ceaseless search for the beautiful ways to realize the human potential in every given age and place.” Charles Fillmore,Co-founder of the Unity movement said: "The truth that we teach is not new; neither do we claim special revelations or discovery of new religious principles. Our purpose is to help and teach mankind to use and prove the eternal Truth taught by the Master." What wonderful reasons to join together and what a fertile common ground upon which to gather in the name of God and in service to one another as God's Holy creations. Our Purpose We are the gathering of an open consortium of harmonious minds for the purpose of seeking understanding, and discerning Truth as a basis for practical living in our moment to moment experience. Our purpose is to add to the good of the World through living life in cooperation with all creation. We hold true that every time we contribute to the "Good" of humankind we contribute to the positive welfare of our community, our consciousness and to the planet. God is our source for every good thing. Our Positive Action United minds, led by the Holy Spirit to discern the Truth as taught by Jesus Christ . . . to prove this Truth in our daily lives and in the proving . . . to become expressions of the Truth that is God.
