Rev. Charles H. Smith Bio
Rev. Smith has been a Unity Truth Student since 1971 and has enjoyed studying under some of the great Unity teachers. His Unity trip started in Virginia Beach, Virginia under Rev. Joyce Kramer then to Raliegh, North Carolina where he served under the tutelage Rev. Jack Graff in a number of positions. Later he moved to Unity Center of the Triangle where he taught adult Sunday School, spearheaded the church newsletter, served as a fund raiser, worked as building maintenance minister and led the noon day meditations.
After moving to Kansas Rev. "Charlie" completed the Licensed Unity Teacher course of study and received his diploma in Advanced Studies from Unity School of Christianity. While completing his studies at Unity Rev. Charlie and his wife Nancy pioneered Unity Church of the New Covenant in Paola, Kansas. An automobile accident and an extensive period of recovery (much surgery and 3-1/2 years in a wheel chair) made continuing the church very difficult. Today, Charlie is out of the wheel chair and active in serving God in any manner he can find.
Rev. Smith is author of The Story of a Soul, a primer, Elegant Choices, The God Gene and, with Nancy, Recipes from the Bakery of Three Hawks and Friends. He is a guest speaker, a workshop facilitator and founder of The Breath of Miracles, (an experiential workshop) and the process of Discovery Writing.
